1. Using green reagents to synthesize important and interesting organic molecules.

2.Development of green organic methodology: With particular interest in aqueous reaction systems for application in site-selective chemical modification of biomolecules.

3.Chemical Biology: Use the concept of organic chemistry to design the functional probes and the synthesis of complex carbohydrate antigens, to study the biomolecular interaction.


Research Topics

(1) Developing new organic methodology by using green reaction conditions (ex: metal-free or solvent-free)

(2) Using commercial available salts to construct the C-S/C-O/C-N/C-C bond formation

(a) Basic knowledge of organic chemistry is required, while prior knowledge of advanced organic chemistry is preferred.

(b) Basic knowledge of NMR is preferred.
