The International Internship Pilot Program offers opportunities for international students to experience Taiwan's strengths in the field of science and technology, while fostering connections with researchers in Taiwan’s industry and government sectors.

To achieve this, we have established an international internship platform that matches applicants with upcoming research projects in our research institutions. The program provides internship opportunities with subsidies for international students. During their internships, interns will experience the strength of Taiwan, often referred to as "Silicon Island," and build ties with the local research community. In the long run, this program aims to enhance our talent ecosystem, expand global networks, and improve the competitiveness of Taiwan's forward-looking industries.
