Process Control Laboratory
Research Field
Dr. Ta-Chen Lin is currently assistant professor at the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department of Tunghai University, Taiwan. She received his M.S. degree (2003) in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University and Ph.D. degree (2009) in Centre for Process Integration (CPI) of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science (CEAS) from University of Manchester (Manchester, UK) which was sponsored by process integration research consortium. She was research fellow (2009-2011) in Chemical and Process Engineering (Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences) at the University of Surrey (Guildford, UK).
Laboratory of Process Control led by Dr. Ta-Chen Lin welcomes interested international students in doing internship at Tunghai University. Our main research interest is to develop various artificial intelligence, applying for different engineering systems including: (i) eco-industrial integrated energy planning based on distributed power system; (ii) biochemical process integration and optimization; (iii) Polymer process simulation and optimization.
