Introduction

Huan-Ming Chuang is a Department of Information Management National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan professor. He received his BS and MBA degrees from NationalCheng KungUniversity and National Chengchi University, Taiwan, in 1979 and 1983, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Iowa, USA 1993. His research interests include e-Learning, Service Science, Strategic Information Systems, Marketing Information Systems, and Business Intelligence.

SIS Lab comes from Strategic Information Systems, representing an information system that pursues sustainable competitive advantages. Due to the application of IT or IM, the ultimate goal is always inseparable from the test of competition. Therefore, SIS is a macro and comprehensive mission and Target.

The main research directions of this team are:

1. Quantitative research: Research and follow up the development direction of the topic of interest and establish creative insights combined with skilled SEM data analysis tools.

2. Qualitative research: For topics with potential for exploration, use qualitative tools (such as CIT, IQA, MEC, etc.) to discover and present key findings in a rigorous and organized manner.

3. Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM): For complex phenomena based on representative experts, use appropriate tools (such as ANP, DEMATEL, etc.) to confirm the interaction and causal relationship between essential constructs.

These fields are full of great space for reinforcement, expansion, and extension and are not mutually exclusive. It is even better to integrate applications to create considerable synergistic effects.
