Currently, Dr. Lu-Sheng Hsieh is a professor of Department of Food Science, Tunghai University. Dr. Hsieh received his PhD degree from National Taiwan University in 2010, and then had his postdoc training at Rutgers Univeristy, US, from 2011 to 2016. He started his teaching career from 2017 for Tunghai University.

My study focuses on using bacteria as microbial cell factories for synthesizing plant secondary metabolites and tryptophan derivatives. In addition, we have the experiences for producing recombinant proteins form various origins such as human, plants, bacteria and so on.
