2D Materials and Devices
Research Field
Prof. S K Saha is currently working as a Professor in the Program of Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Academy of Innovative Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing. Before joining this program in NCKU, Prof. Saha has served as the Chairman & Senior Professor in the School of Materials Science, Indian Association for The Cultivation of Science. His major Research area is on the 2D materials and devices, particularly on storage devices and thin film transistor/optoelectronic devices. He has guided around 30 PhD students and published more than 160 research articles in very reputed International Journals. Prof. Saha is the Fellow of the “Institute of Physics” (FInst, UK) and recipient of the Materials Society of India Medal.
Prof. Saha's Group is mainly working on 2D materials (Graphene, MoS2, MXene, graphitic carbon nitrides etc.) based electrochemical storage devices (supercapacitors) and thin film transistor/optoelectronic devices. For details of the lab/research activities please refer to the website.
