I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). Prior to this position, I served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Taiwan University (NTU). Additionally, I have gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at Academia Sinica.
My research interests encompass computer vision, machine learning, multimedia, and artificial intelligence, with a strong enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges. I am dedicated to mentoring highly motivated students and fostering their growth in research and problem-solving. Additionally, I am open to potential collaborations and welcome opportunities to work on impactful research projects. The Computer Vision and Intelligence Lab at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) conducts cutting-edge research at the intersection of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Multimedia. Under the supervision of Prof. Jhih-Ciang Wu, our group investigates advanced algorithms and models to interpret visual data and enhance intelligent systems.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews on state-of-the-art topics in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
- Implement and experiment with deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and solve technical problems.
- Participate in regular lab meetings and present progress updates.
Preferred Intern Educational Level
Undergraduate students (senior year preferred) or Master’s students currently enrolled in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Skill sets or Qualities
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and version control.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a genuine passion for AI research.
- Good communication skills in English.
