Research Field
My self Dr. Di-Yan Wang distinguished chemist specializing in materials chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, and energy materials. Currently serves as Professor in the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), where I also holds the position of Associate Chair of the department.
Our lab, the Nano Materials Energy Lab focused on the design and fundamental understanding of nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion. We develop Earth-abundant functional materials and investigate their structure–property relationships to address key challenges in sustainable energy technologies. Our research integrates materials synthesis, electrochemistry, and mechanistic studies, aiming at applications such as next-generation batteries, electrocatalysis, renewable fuel production and electrocatalytic reduction reactions.
Our group actively publishes in high-impact journals (like J. Mater. Chem. A, J. Phys. Chem. Lett., Materials Horizons and Small Methods), showing strong contributions to energy materials research including batteries, electrocatalysis, perovskites, and renewable fuel production.
Our group research is focused on the Energy Storage Materials, Electrocatalysis for Renewable Fuels, Electrocatalytic Reduction Reactions, Photocatalytic and Functional Nanomaterials and Mechanistic and Structural Studies.
