Dr. Hwang received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, IA, USA. She is an associate professor at the National Taipei University of Technology. The research mainly focuses on Cross-Attribute Integration and Optimization, Advanced Technology Application, and Development, including (1) Vehicle Integration – Vehicle NVH, Safety, Durability, Cross-Attributes, Multi-Physics, System Integration and Optimization; (2) Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle Integration; (3) Advanced Technology Development and Application.
We welcome international students with a background in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant background to join us.
The Structure and Optimization Lab aims to develop advanced technology for vehicle engineering applications. Utilizing computer-aided engineering tools to predict vehicle performances, using AI to identify the potential noise sources and vehicle failure modes, applying optimization to provide reliable and optimal designs, and other subjects are the main research topics.
