Modern Control Application Lab
Research Field
Chian-Song Chiu was received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1997 and 2001, respectively. Since 2008, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan, R.O.C., where he is currently a Professor. His current research interests include fuzzy control, robotics, and nonlinear control.
Modern Control Application Lab focuses the following research topics:
- Robotic control systems
- Solar energy control system
Modern Control Application Lab focuses the two main research topics: robotic control and solar energy control. The detailed content is described as follows:
- Robotic control systems: motion control, system integration, software design
- Solar energy control system: power electronic design, MPPT control, circuit implementation
About sixty master students were graduated from our Lab, everyone has good jobs in Taiwan.
We have published fifty journal papers and have high connection with companies.
