Research Field
Dr. Ming-Hao Yang is an Assistant Professor in the College of Ocean Law and Policy at National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU). He earned his Ph.D. in Law from the Graduate School of Law at Kyoto University, Japan. His research expertise focuses on the International Law of the Sea, maritime law enforcement, and gray zone conflicts. Dr. Yang has extensively studied marine sustainability. He is also actively involved in regional revitalization and academic exchange between Taiwanese and Japanese universities.
The Maritime Security and Sustainability Laboratory is dedicated to exploring emerging legal and political issues in ocean governance. We focus on maintaining maritime security and promoting the sustainable use of marine resources.
