Introduction

Prof. Chi-Hsien Liu received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan) in June 2001. He has been a Full Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at Chang Gung University since 2013, and is also jointly appointed as a professor at Chang Gung University of Science and Technology. Prior to joining Chang Gung University, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Bioresources Collection and Research Center (BCRC), Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI), Taiwan, focusing on the development of ex vivo stem cell technologies.

Prof. Liu’s research interests include electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL), electrochemical biosensing, diagnostic technologies, nanomaterials synthesis, and gene delivery. We warmly welcome motivated international Ph.D. students to join Liu’s Lab through the IIPP program. Our group provides a supportive research environment, strong mentorship, and hands-on training with advanced instrumentation and interdisciplinary projects, aiming to help students build solid experimental skills and produce high-quality research outcomes.
