Introduction

Dr. Isack Farady is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. His expertise lies in computer vision, multimedia applications, and deep learning. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Yuan Ze University in 2023, following his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. In 2023, Dr. Farady joined National Central University as a postdoctoral research fellow, where he worked on 3D seismic layer analysis using segmentation models. Prior to that, he contributed to projects at the National Center for High-Performance Computing, focusing on defect detection for industrial applications. His professional experience also includes over ten years as a Datacom Engineer at Huawei Indonesia.

The Vision and Intelligent Computing (VIC) Lab is a research laboratory within the Department of Electrical Engineering, dedicated to advancing cutting-edge technologies in Computer Vision, Multimedia Processing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Intelligent Computing. Our research focuses on integrating image, video, and audio processing with innovative deep learning techniques and intelligent systems.

Our mission is to develop intelligent, efficient, and scalable AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges in fields such as healthcare, geoscience, human-computer interaction, and autonomous systems. We actively collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and research communities to push the boundaries of intelligent computing and multimedia technologies.
