Prof. Chia-Chih Chang is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. His research focuses on functional polymer materials for biomedical and energy-harvesting applications.

Job Description

Reserach Objectives

  1. To design and synthesize new hydrophilic monomers featuring N-oxide, sulfoxide and zwitterionic moieties. 
  2. To optimize PET-RAFT polymerization conditions using ZnTPP under red-light irradiation for efficient polymerization in aqueous or mixed solvents.
  3. To investigate the structure–property relationships of the resulting polymers in terms of their molecular weight control, functionality, and antifouling properties.
