Introduction

Dr. Hsu is an Investigator at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine at National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) in Taiwan, and holds adjunct faculty positions at the Institute of NanoEngineering and Microsystems of National Tsing Hua University and the Ph.D. Program in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine of National Chung Hsing University.

Dr. Hsu's research activities are centered about the development of microfluidics technologies for cell biology and medical applications in cancer, stem cell, and regenerative medicine. The long-term goal of his laboratory is to turn microfluidics into enabling tools to improve medicine and healthcare.

Educational Background

Dr. Hsu received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Washington in USA, and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School prior to joining NHRI.
