Introduction

  • PI got a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. 
  • He has published more than 80 SCI papers and several patents. He has served as Department Chair of Biomedical Engineering and Associate Dean of the College of Engineering at CYCU. 
  • His lab has connections with international scholars from the USA, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Europe. Welcome to join the lab.

 

The lab's research is focused on biomaterials applications. The lab is aimed at two themes: 1. biomaterials for cartilage repair and 2. theranostic drug delivery systems. Update for IIPP applicants: We gained great experience with some IIPP interns from 2023 to 2025. 

In 2026, we wish to accept applicants who are well-trained in chemistry, materials science, and biosciences.

  1. Education in Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science
  2. Good English communication
  3. Passionate about innovating medical technology.
